Yiu Yu Hoi’s ‘Infrared Hong Kong’

Yiu Yu Hoi’s artistic vision of his homeland Hong Kong is like a leisurely stroll through a pink-tinted dreamland. Infrared photography and the swapping of the red and blue channels in Photoshop were used to highlight details otherwise invisible to mortal eyes, which could’ve been a monotone cityscape that instead Hoi transformed into a pastel-hued trek in and around some of Hong Kong’s most photogenic sun-soaked areas.
