What you are looking at appears to be something straight out of Transformers or a sci-fi horror film. The Phasma Bot is the creation of the minds over at Takram Design Engineering in Tokyo, Japan and melds the organic and robotic worlds with ease. It’s comprised of stainless steel springs, pistons and rubber joints and mimics the smooth, fluid movement of an insect…. or a tarantula from hell with frickin’ laser beams attach to it’s forehead…. The design is extremely clean for something so seemingly complex. Hopefully this thing doesn’t go to market otherwise you can count on many sleepless nights ahead! Source
