We just got the official US version of G.I. Joe Rise of Cobra…. But I’m not sure how i feel about it, Mixed feelings here.. Let me just show you and you let me know what you think.

    I've got mixed feelings. While I feel that there needs to be the crazy missiles from the side of the Hummer type things to keep true to the cool tech from the toys, I think the over done CGI romper room dudes are going to distract from the overall upper tier feel. I am getting really burnt out on all of these movies coming out that are really just exercises in how if something can be done on film, it can be over-done on the computer.

    Right on Jonathan, i was feeling this movie from the last trailer they released, but with this one is a bit more over the top and could make this entire movie just silly.

    I'm reserving judgment till I see the film. I went in the first transformers flick expecting them to ruin it and walked out with one of the best movie theater experiences I've ever had….So since basically GI Joe represents part of that "great childhood memory" part of my life as well , I'm hoping the same will be true with this movie.
