The Peugeot BB1 Concept

[Submitted by Daren] If you love a scooter because it’s easier to drive on a congested street, but hate it because of the lack of adequate safety systems, then Peugeot is the brand you should look forward to. The company has unveiled their latest concept vehicle, dubbed BB1, for which they say, “Its mother is a scooter. Its father is a car.”
Though the details on the car and its power source are limited, the images do speak some green features about the car. The car is shown with a solar cell-covered glass bubble roof, which makes us believe that its engine would too be a green one be it an all-electric engine or a hybrid engine.
The car has enough space for four occupants and all those occupants gain access to the cabin via a pair of reverse-hinged doors with mini roll-down windows. While the bodywork seems more like a car, the interiors prove why the company says its mother is a scooter. Source
