Music and comics have always been associated. DJ and turntable pioneer Afrika Bambaataa created a historic record cover when he teamed up with the Soul Sonic Force to release ’Renegades of Funk.’ The album cover was taken straight from a Marvel Comics cover. Method Man aka Johnny Blaze (Ghost Rider) and Tony Starks aka Ironman of Wu-tang also held superhero names. I guess you could say music and comics have always had close ties.
