SNOWMOBILE CONCEPT by Matus Prochaczka
At the first glance, the Snowmobile appears to be a frowning, angry, snow scooter with an aggressive stance, and with an impressive presence. The snow scooter is stylish and well built, with tracks at the front and skis at the rear. There’s also space to hold your skis when you go for a fun-ride to the slopes. Details on the design are scarce, but we hope it has a powerful motor that matches it’s aggressive stance. The design is a product of the team at Dominic Schindler creations.

I mean, it looks nice. Smooth and nice contours etc. But it seems to me that the rider’s feet would dangle right down onto the tracks. Especially likely over very bumpy terrain. I would also imagine the machine throws a fair amount of snow right up the rider’s pant leg.

That probably means, as does the lack of a wind shield, no one who worked on this has actually ridden a snow-mobile before.
Research first, development after.
[...] One initial look at this snowmobile concept and you get the feeling that this angry tiger is ready to pounce on its prey. This aggressively-styled snow vehicle is all set to launch on snow and give you one hell of an exhilarating ride. Designed by Dominic Schindler Creations with sleek and seductive looks– and a special slot for your skis– this green meanie sure looks like a snowmobile we’d love to get in our neck of the freshly snowed woods… [via flylyf] [...]

This is cool to look at… but this design would actually be WORTHLESS, if it were ever put to use in the way that they were imagining it. Might work ok on a groomed or hardpacked trail… but would get stuck immediately in deep snow! No lugs on the track, aside… this thing would be very high maintenece on the front drive components… and furthermore wouldn’t offer much to the rider in the way of handling and cornering. Sorry to say guys… but the snowmobiles coming from Polaris, Cat, SkiDoo and Yamaha are far more superior than this concept… well maybe all except the Yamaha! hahaha
Wonder if it says "You have 20 seconds to comply" too. =)
