With the Frankfurt Autoshow underway, things are starting to get officially official. After numerous leaks of Porsche’s latest supercar, here are the official live first pics of the new 2010 GT3 RS. The GT3 RS is one of Porsche’s more special cars. Not many cars are as refined, balanced, responsive or as fun to drive as the GT3…. it’s said to be PERFECT! This animal is powered by a 3.8-liter flat-six churning out 450 hp without the aid of turbos. The GT3 RS is certainly a Porsche that stands out with it’s hypnotic gray hue and red accented decals and wheels, the car is simply gorgeous. Outside you will also notice the downforce fighting carbon fiber rear wing mounted atop aluminum supports. Porsche was very focused on lowering the weight of the new GT3. In part, have achieved this via an optional new lithium-ion battery that offers a savings of about 22 pounds and an ultra lightweight titanium exhaust. The 2010 GT3 RS will go on sale in early spring 2010 and will empty your bank account in the sum of $132,800. Source
