Poly.Touch – Synthesizer

Poly.Touch is a tangible synthesizer with sound modules ( cubes) and devices ( MTT Screen). The basic idea of this Synthesizer is that electricity makes sound. By moving and playing with the cubes on the touch screen it  creates the sounds and makes it for a easy use of a synthesizer with out loosing the performance behind it.

"The basic idea of this Synthesizer is that electricity makes sound."

That's the basic idea of …every… synthesizer…

was just coming here to say the same thing

wow talk about a direct copy of http://mtg.upf.edu/reactable/ and this guy gives absolutely no credit

there are much better uses of multitouch, this has to be one of the most pointless projects ever, if you are "using electricity" to make a true synth sound, it sounds much better when you acutally do it, rather then this stupid emulation crap.

Poly.Touch is a Synthesizer with a structur from a synthesizers and the device teaching you how a synthesizer works!!! that is mean by "electricity makes sound" how make a synthesizer that?!!! U know? Is also not a copy of the reactable, it is a complete another concept…you must know how synthesizers works to unterstand the poly.touch…. thank U mikerland

[...] followed a few links from the comments on a post about the Poly.Touch found on NotCot today, and wound up looking at this instead: the Reactable. Watch it in [...]
