I used to live in New York. I now live in Houston, Texas. I'd love one of these helmets, to scream about, as I ride around in Houston. Besides I don't even own a helmet right now.

how can i find out the next place they'll be distributed? I'd love to wear one when I ride seeing as I have no helmet currently and this just might save my hide some day.

Safety first, fashion last. Last year, I was cutoff by a car and went head first into a windshield. I was lucky that nothing happened. Amazing. And of course I lived to write this post.

Totally silly. Back in the 70's and 80's, bike helmets were fabric covered. That was discontinued for exactly the reason that morethantoastmtx stated above: the fabric was catching on obstacles and pavement during a collision, and causing injuries to be worse than a sliding surface. So go ahead and push them as “fashionable” if you think they are, but they're not optimally safe.
