Leviathan For Pause Fest

Having kicked-off on 7 November and running on through Sunday the 13th, Melbourne Australia’s pioneer digital festival Pause Fest is showcasing the future of technology, art and ideas from all around the world. Designed to foster sharing, networking and education, some of the world’s leading creative companies and agencies have contributed original projects to be part of the offerings, which include small events, exhibitions, projections, open studios, installations, product launches and interactive projects dispersed throughout the city of Melbourne Central Business District.

At Pause Fest’s grand exhibition event, visual artists, agency show reels and sponsored installations all share the stage, stimulating meaningful interactions between Melbournians and the leading creative minds of our time.

Among the featured showreels is this production created by design-focused production studio Leviathan exclusively for Pause Fest:

According to Leviathan’s executives, the video is their studio’s response to these questions which were posed by the Pause Fest’s co-founder and chairman George Hedon:
. How would you like to be remembered?
. How did you get where you are now?
. How would you explain creativity?
. What do you think of the design/advertising world?
. Do you take into account what other people think or say?

Leviathan’s executive creative director Jason White describes the project as a self-produced documentary introducing the Leviathan studio, custom made for Pause Fest 2011. “In the wake of the intense Amon Tobin ISAM production,” he says, “we wanted to reflect on thought, document our environment and share it with the world.”
