South Carolina-based Q-Tires has developed the all-purpose Celsius model tire. The Celsius actually features retractable studs. All the driver needs to do when the weather gets icy is flip a switch in their car, which fills a secondary chamber within the tire, activating the studs. Flipping the switch again releases the pressure retracts the studs.
