IRON MAN 2
Since opening day everyone has been talking about the teaser footage at the end of Iron Man where Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury makes mention of the “Avenger Project” hinting at a possible Avenger movie. But that’s not the only hint given in the movie. There are already rumors that Iron Man 2 has a release date of April 30th 2010 and if that’s the case there man be a hint to support it in the current Iron Man. There is also a scene right before Iron Man’s battle with Obidiah Stan where Rhodes (played by Terrence Howard) looks at the second suit and says “Next time baby” could be a hint that there may be a sequel that includes War Machine. For those that need a little background…… In the comics Rhodes uses the War Machine armor as Iron Man after Stark fakes his own death. Upon the revelation that Stark is alive, the relationship between the two is fractured and they go their separate ways. Rhodes continues to use the War Machine armor in a solo superhero career, occasionally fighting alongside Stark. So the question is……Will there be an Iron Man 2 and if so was this scene a hint that War Machine will make an appearance in it? Be sure to look for more clues in the upcoming Incredible Hulk movie.

If you read the Trivia section on IMDB.com, it actually says that Jon Favreau picked Terrence Howard because he thought he would make a good War Machine:
“Terrence Howard was cast as James Rhodes, as Jon Favreau felt he could also portray War Machine admirably.”
I can’t wait for Iron Man 2!!! They will definitely produce a sequel since the first did so well. I’d like to see a Iron Man vs. War Machine battle. War Machine would kick Iron Man’s ass!!!!

You missed the reflection on the top of the head, AND the “railgun” lookin thing has massive amounts of grain along its edges; you suck. Try harder next time, i’d say.

in the closing credits i think in the technical drawings iron man is depicted having a rail gun or some kind of weapon on his shoulder

I heard that in the upcomng ironman movie terrance howard will not be reprising the role of rhody and will be replaced by don chedal from hotel rowanda. At this time this is just hear say and shld not be taken literally but it may be a possibilty. jon favroe will loose the support of man new and old ironman fans, my only thought is that there is a fear that terrnce might out do downey jr. in the sequel and this is how they arefixing the problem. A good actor none the les but not as appealig to the female viewer as downey jr.
The “War Machine” pic above has a false background, the shoulder weapons were added, and the armor is that of Iron Man but the image was edited to look gray and appear like its War Machine. Thats all this pic is. Nice work by a skilled artist.

Well I tell you this, I thought Terrence Howard did a GREAT job on the first Ironman and then for them to straight up tell him that he won't be involved in the sequal but to be replaced by Don Cheadle. NOT COOL! I don't think that was the right move AT ALL to let him go.

Very interesting film. And the second part as seen from the short version is even more interesting!
