Gorgeous Work By Macoto Murayama:Inorganic Flora
Posted by: Joey Babs | View Comments
Japanese artist Macoto Murayama displays his latest works, inspired by his extensive studies of botanical drawings and photography called Inorganic Flora. Murayama’s work breaks the conventional mold of how botanicals are depicted artistically. Instead of focusing on their organic (natural) elements, the Inorganic Flora pieces hone in on the architecture and “design” elements of flowers. It is more about looking at the flower from a different perspective and being able to see it in another light and Murayama certainly captures it in these pieces. Check out Murayama’s portfolio here.
