Exclusive Mixtape Release
flylyf is proud to present “Tomorrow is Today” the latest mixtape release from Brooklyn bred emcee Fresh Daily. During a time when our airwaves are flooded with auto-tuned voices and what I refer to as “chant raps” Fresh Daily is truly a breath of fresh air. Any hiphop fan will appreciate Fresh’s clever word play and creative delivery. But let’s be honest what good are lyrics if the beats are stale, not the case here. I am very picky with beat production but was thoroughly impressed with what I heard on this mixtape. So scroll down and listen or download the mixtape.

Fresh Daily
Good music, dope flows, fresh tees and kicks define the personal style of Brooklyn native Fresh Daily, an emcee who is taking an impressive multifaceted approach to Hip Hop. As an emcee, graphic designer, this artist’s persona and prowess make it hard to disagree with his self-proclaimed title of himself as “the New Jack of the boom bap”. Of his rap moniker he says: “Fresh Daily just fits me right, I stay Fresh All day, every day, with the rhymes, with the style. Its just another way of expressing my motto of consistent innovation”. Currently set to release the anticipated project “Tomorrow is Today” which Fresh describes as a “trip into what Hip-hop will sound like in the future”, as a precursor to his album. High Water Music will be releasing Fresh Daily’s sophomore album, “Fresh Daily is the Gorgeous Killer in Crimes of Passion” (’09) featuring production by Illmind (G-Unit, Little Brother, Ghostface), Oh No (Stones Throw), 88 Keys (Kanye West, Grafh, Mos Def), Dj Spinna (Eminem, Slick Rick) Frequency (Snoop Dogg, Cam’ron), Exile, Analogic, 2 Hungry Bros and several noted emcee guest appearances from Cool Calm Pete (Embedded/Def Jux), Tanya Morgan (Loud Minority/ABB) Homeboy Sandman and more.
Regardless of what you stumble upon regarding this emcee, whether it be modeling for several clothing (streetwear and upscale) brands (Live Mechanics, Leroy Jenkins, BRIAN WOOD, IHMDJ, Lemar and Dauley, Correct, Brooklyn Surfer, A.L.I.E.N) or having his paintings in galleries, expect slick wordplay and real versatility when delivering over a variety of production. His overall style and flare will definitely keep you coming back for more. Fresh Daily has performed along side some of Hip-Hop music’s highly regarded artists like Jean Grae, Mos Def, Blu, Wale, Talib Kweli, Smif-N-Wessun, Dj Evil Dee and others. He has also performed in various venues all over the U.S, to support those efforts. With High Water Music (Dj Sucio Smash and Dj Spinna) backing him, he hopes to move his exposure to the next level.
