Emil Baddal’s Lamborghini Concept

With the LP670-4 SV there’s an end to the beautiful Lamborghini Murciélago story. A new Lamborghini flagship can be expected within the upcoming four years. Designers like Emil Baddal are helping the Sant’Agata Bolognese engineers with ideas for a new Lamborghini.

We think it looks stunning, but better than the Insecta Design Study? That is another question.

horrid.
There is a reason why automotive designers go to 4 years of school.

Absolutely beautiful, i am in love.

PS its really easy to criticize others work. Its much harder to create.

Trust me when I say I know. I'm a designer myself, and have been critiqued into oblivion before. the only way to improve is to have someone with the balls to tell you what is wrong.

To expand on my horrid opinion; the proportions are way off.
Wheel spacing seems too short and the wheels them selfs are too large!
front bumper is too thick and the rear one is just massive!

none of the elements seem to jive with each other. examples would be the rear fenders, the louvers on the rear (too many) the black parts on the front fenders and the negative shapes on the rear bumper.

Overall, the car just looks too heavy for a Lamborghini, but there are some things I like.
The louvered rear window with a crease running through it, almost like a spine. You could design a kick as car around this theme alone.
from side view, the front bumper has some cool shapes going on.
headlights are cool, tail lights look sad.
rims are cool too.

great model and great rendering. design could use some refinement. think subtract stuff rather than adding.

Hmmm. There are some things that I really like about the design. I really like the look of both the rear and front bumper design. The headlights are awesome and totally remind me of the 80s just like Lambo itself. The design is cohesive and I disagree with the comment that there is too much. Overall, however, I prefer the Insecta hands down. Mostly I think a Lambo or any other high performance auto meant to go fast should have a streamline design. This is too geometric looking. I expect it to Transform any minute now into Bumble Bee. It also looks plastic. If I am going drop that kind of cash on a car, I don't want it to look like it came off a Dyson production line.

boooo… it looks more like a caricature. thumbs down.

At first glance I didn't like it, but now that I've seen the different angles and really looked at it, its growing on me.. I'd like to see it in black…

eewe how embarrassing!

Whats up with the rear wheel well? Awkward. Other than that, its pretty cool. Reminds me of a geometric version of the Mazda Furai because of all the louvers.

i looked at this a few times, and then peeked back up at the back bumper and it looks like transformers.

Please. Fix your site. The only thing it's faster than is a snail. You've got interesting content, but it's a pain to go through.

Working on it, sorry

I really like the design, only thing that annoys me is the size of the wheels. WAAYYYY too big.

I like it

It's Satan's car.

Utterly useless.

Hi. I design things myself. My favorite part is the canopy and the front. The back at first glance looks bad but usually this design grows on your. This design just needs to be flatter, lower and the canopy area enlarged to be more proportionate. It looks chubby now but it carries with it the spirit of aggressive design (aka angular) that is fitting for the Bull. To flatten it they may need to have an engine that is inline and vertical, an I configuration. If flattened it'll be more elegant instead.

Thats is just so wrong!!!!! proportions, details, stance, nothing works!!

ok i think it would look fairly good if the wheels were smaller and the rear wheel hub wasent a pentagon design it just doesnt go along with the lines of the rest of the body
