Course Presents Casting Shadows Pain

Hong Kong-based company Coarse, will release a limited-edition toy installation in the noop and nism series, titled “Casting Shadows Pain.” Noop, a dark-haired boy left heartbroken, bleeding, and covered in bandages, accompanies nism – a squid-like monster – who towers over the wretch with a ferocious snarl. Also included is the kite used in this story by noop to signal for help, and the letters C-O-A-R-S-E that you can scatter about to complete the scene. The gruesome twosome are handcrafted and topped off with a high-gloss finish that the artists liken to “three-dimensional rock.” Only 200 signed and numbered pieces will be available beginning at 10:59 EST on Dec. 20.
