Conceptual Concept: Aston Martin Agora Concept

Concept vehicles are done to purely evoke emotion. Whether it be hatred, infatuation or something in between, designers want to get a feeling of is there a valid market potential for this vehicle, should we make this? Well I can say that from the looks of these concept drawings, that would be an resounding YES! Now of course not all concepts make it to the production line. Many concepts are design language exercises along with some genuine intention of putting a mildly similar iteration on the road. A design team, lead by Himanshu Bhardwaj, had the intention of designing an Aston Martin concept that allowed the driver to have a genuine interaction with the world they drive in. They named the concept the Aston Martin Agora and with it’s lack of solid doors and anything remotely close to a windshield, I’d say the driver might as well BE the road. At first glance it’s hard to tell what car company this concept might represent but a closer look at the horizontal slats in the front grille and you can tell that this thing is all Aston. Props to Himanshu and his design team for creating something so bold. Now let’s bring this baby to life! Source
