Tuner LUMMA Design is specialized in refining upscale sports cars. LUMMA Design launches a special edition based on the E-Class W 212. This special edition convinces through a lot of design as well as horsepower. To achieve perfect visual appearance and high speed – aerodynamics is of extreme importance. At the front the tuner from Winterlingen mount a front spoiler bumper with integrated daylights. Unobstrusive side skirts (optional available with LED-entrance lighting) and design sport fender with integrated vents and a high gloss polished fin made of aluminium give a clear signal. The LUMMA CLR bodykit contains also a lip spoiler and a very sporty rear valance bumper with separate diffuser (optional available made of Carbon). Highlight: the trunk lid with integrated rear spoiler tearing edge and elongated change-over to the bumper – all made of Carbon/Kevlar in weight saving construction!

The Arash AF10 is powered by a V8 7.0 liter GM engine that comes with titanium conrods and dry sump with cooling and develops 550bhp at 6000rpm. The Arash AF10 is equipped with a 6 speed manual Grazianno transmission, has a carbon and steel chassis and a full carbon body. The company also plans a supercharged version of the car, called Arash AF10-S that will be released at a later date and will output 850bhp. Source

BMW have released info on their new Concept 6 bike, which is fitted with a six-cylinder engine. The bike is now on display at the currently ongoing EICMA Show in Milan, Italy. BMW straight-six engines have a formidable reputation in the world of cars and it seems BMW are now all set to bring their six-cylinder power to motorcycles as well.

CR&S DUU Concept Motorcycle

The CR&S “DUU” is a custom concept motorcycle, which was unveiled at the EICMA Milano International Bike Show in November 2009. The DUU is a naked, two-seater premium motorcycle with a modular layout. Two western motorcycle cultures have been synthesized inside the “DUU”: a sporty European rolling chassis powered by a muscular American V-twin. The DUU is said to provide an intuitive ride, with technological innovations and assertive styling.

The CR&S DUU is equipped with the new S&S “X-Wedge” engine with a capacity of 1916cc (117c.i.). Last year S&S celebrated its 50th Anniversary by creating this unique engine as a synthesis of its experience and technology. The X-Wedge is a new engine in the American tradition of big twins, which meets the latest emission and noise standards, but with a special character and high performance.

CR&S introduced the concept of a “tailor-made motorcycle” with its original model, the “VUN”. Beginning with the standard version, each customer chooses their very own motorcycle through a wide range of technical and aesthetic option choices.

The DUU extends this concept, now synonymous with the CR&S brand. In addition to technical and aesthetic options, the DUU allows different configurations. The CR&S DUU begins with a single and/or two-seater base module, which provides the main needs of the rider while offering countless configuration options, without affecting functionality or the aesthetic form.

An innovative motorcycle, “modular and muscular”, built from high quality, durable materials and best components, with a powerful, rugged and reliable engine. This is the desire of the “mature” motorcyclist, who demands certainty, continuity and top-value in terms of design and technology.

The DUU is a motorcycle to satisfy a sophisticated and intuitive market of enthusiasts who are aware of things that meet their needs and that are made to last. The intent of the DUU is to never neglect the CR&S vital aspects of a “premium” motorcycle: emotion and character.

CR&S expects to deliver the first DUU in Europe by 2011. Target price, for the base model, is $30,000 on the road, with a production volume of a few dozen units per year. Each motorcycle tailor-made, by hand, one at a time. Source

Caccia Custom Cars took a 2002 Chevy Camaro and a 2002 Chevy Corvette and created the Ghepardo. The car uses the Camaro’s frame and the Corvette’s motor and suspension. The cool pain job comes from House of Kolor paint and is called Pagan Gold Source

Gullwing America SLS Panamericana

[Submitted by Smith J.] Gullwing America has just released the Mercedes SLS AMG Panamericana tuning kit which will bring back the retro look of the original Gullwing 300SL. The car tuning company tried to transform the Mercedes SLS AMG into the Gullwing of the 21st century and it features an impressive aerodynamics package.

The car’s body kit consists of seven parts made from carbon fiber or Hybrid Aluminum and it features a clean front grille radiator and ribs on the hood and fenders. The Gullwing Mercedes SLS AMG Panamericana also features 2 side vents, a chromed grille frame, new oval dual Xenon headlights, a sport tuned muffler tip and this car sits in 19 and 20″ wheels.

The car’s interior is just slightly changed and this car comes with an Alcantara center piece of the seats and brushed aluminum door sills. The 21st century Gullwing could also come with racing stripes on the front fenders and it’s price and availability will be announced later. Source

The BMW M3 GTS

That successor for the E46 M3 CSL has finally arrived in the form of the 2011 BMW M3 GTS. Like the CSL, the GTS features substantially reduced weight, complemented by slightly increased horsepower.

Compared to the normal M3’s naturally aspirated 4.0-liter V8, the GTS gains extra displacement, for a total of 4.4 liters. This results in 450 horsepower, delivered to the wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox.

The interior is stripped down for maximum performance, with two racing seats up front and a roll cage in place of the rear seats. The suspension has also been stiffened, and a spoiler promises to keep the rear end planted.

Availability is expected to begin in mid 2010, with a starting price of around $150,000.
