Saab Aero-X Concept may see production

in 2009, Spyker CEO Victor Muller spoke about his affection for the Saab Aero X concept, a futuristic yet definitively Saab design with a 400-horsepower, ethanol-fueled and all-wheel drive.
Now, rumors on the Internet hint that a Spyker C8 Aileron-based Aero X may see limited production.

In an interview with AOL, Spyker CEO Victor Muller said the Aero X “deserves to be built,” because of its purity of design. If rumors circulating the Web today prove true, Muller and the new Saab-Spyker Automobiles may already be planning a version of the car based on Spyker’s existing C8 Aileron.

Bugatti 16C Galibier concept in black

Bugatti today released some new images of its Bugatti 16C Galibier Concept dressed all in black. Yes, as we write this post we are listening to “Back in Black” by ACDC.
The Bugatti 16 C Galibier is one of the several concepts which the company is considering for a future model. Power comes from a 8.0L 16-cylinder engine that features two-stage supercharging. The engine is flex-fuel compatible, meaning it can run on ethanol. The Bugatti Galibier rides on a four-wheel-drive system and features ceramic brakes and a new suspension design that enables “agile, always-sure handling of a saloon of this size.”

Pioneer’s DJM-2000 with multitouch

The DJM-2000 inherits a larger foot print than its predecessors to accommodate a sectioned layout of features as well as cosmetically match the latest Pioneer CDJ series of digital media players. On the top center section of the mixer resides its EFX capabilities to give DJs a bounty of digital effects. Located on each side of the middle section is its audio mixing controls for connection of up to four digital or USB sources. Across the middle section, Pioneer added new INST FX (Instant Instrument FX) functions which allow DJs to further alter and create more sound effects. And, at the bottom center of the mixer is a large LCD touch display that provides DJs a window for remixing beats and adding effects with the ease of a simple touch of the screen.

Industry First Multi-Touch Panel
A first in the industry for audio mixers, the DJM-2000 incorporates a full-color 5.8-inch LCD multi-touch panel for adding audio effects. Users can simultaneously manipulate the displayed controls on the panel by touching different areas of the screen. Three different performance modes are available.

The mixer will be available for about $3,000 in June of this year

OO – High Definition Wireless Projector

[Submitted by David Riesenberg] The OO is a wireless projector capable of displaying high definition (1080p) data. Utilizing either a WIFI connection or internal SSD storage, the projector can operate independently from any wire for up to 3 hours based on an internal Li-Ion battery or using a single wire connected to a power source. With the combination of WIFI and internal storage, the OO can act as both an extender/duplicator of an external display or as a wireless media projector/streamer with built in decoding capabilities. The three independently articulated legs allow the OO to be tilted for optimal positioning. Full interaction with the projector is done via the touch screen remote but the projector can be operated without it in extender/duplicator mode after pre configuration.

Part of the GEO series, the OO’s form is inspired by the simple and elegant form of the circle – from which it also gets him name denoting the shape of the projector and the shape of the lens. The semi monocoque carbon fiber structure allows for a lightweight construction and combined with its dimensions (11in / 28cm diameter) allow the OO to be portable but without compromising image quality.
