Saw one at the Toronto bike in Dec. Looks much worst live. Front end lights look quite stupid and most customers that stopped by the BMW section of the show all commented on the weird look of the front end. I will not buy a bike that I am not 100% in love with and it seems like lots of other prospect customers felt the same way. David Robb needs to be terminated from BMW for ruining the look of a technically amazing bike. Conversely, the Ducati booth was full of customers in awe of the wonderful design of the 1198 and 848 series.

gee some people have no eye for creativity and new style, the headlights are a definite stamp of difference and workability, people need to see the bike in the flesh and see how well they work b4 they make unrefined comments i guess, overall great bike with all the mod cons !

i like the different headlights nothing worse on a bike than matching headlights and only one is on at least this matches if one is on fine cause the other is a different identity

    The color's awful

looks like an ugly japanese bike
  • Asymmetrical headlights would work if they did something like one big one on one side and two smaller ones on the other... Maybe with one of the small ones being an aim-able "bug eye" or, a fog light. That would at least justify the asymmetry. The way it is now, it looks like it was made from parts of other bikes. The asymmetrical "vents" on the sides work better because they have similar forms. But... Hey! Don't let my criticism stop you from giving me one for free!

I kind of liked the headlights at first, but now that I've looked more closely I agree they need to pick one style...
  • I don't like the asymmetrical headlights. Pick *one*! ...preferably *not* the round one.
  • Nice Bike. Is it a V-twin?
