BMW HYDROGEN 7

The BMW Hydrogen 7 is the world’s first luxury performance sedan with hydrogen drive and it’s only emission…….. WATER! Under the hood is a 12-cylinder, 260 horsepower engine that has the same power and performance as the gasoline powered 7 and can also run on gasoline itself at the push of a button. The Hydrogen 7 is not available for purchase at this time, but is considered to be a milestone in bringing forward hydrogen as the sustainable fuel for individual transportation. I was once asked how I justified paying so much money for a car that is built on old technology given the internal combustion engine is technology from the 1800s. I had no response, but it definitely got me thinking. It seems with the current trend of hybrid vehicles and now the Hydrogen 7, that the technology to move us out of the 1800s exists and I’m all for it. My only question is, “Where the HELL is nearest hydrogen station?!?!?!”
