page 121 was recently updated, just as all the previous posts, the time stamp of this new post is 8:15. What was posted was another section of code, with ‘backlayer.net/term added to the page’s source code as well. The title of the new post is blterm, which refers to ‘Borrmann-Lehmann interference’ and is about x-rays. The posted code is below:

According to pjazz the new code is ‘ROT-13″. If you google ‘ROT-13′ decoder you come to this page . After copy and pasting the code from page 121 and decoding it, the translated message is as follows:

i managed to crack an access in the extranet for you. it is not working properly but in the meantime maybe you can help me. please be insistent as the connection is very unstable.

we still know nothing about matthew. i wonder if he left the island.

levels -28 to -88 are closed, there is a lot of security around. nobody knows why.

As I mentioned, earlier today, before this code was posted, there was a change in the source code for the site.

The windows on the taskbar. The first one is apparently a telnet session and it’s the one with the chat. -F e.log is just an command line argument to log to disk all the session data (so she is evidently logging the conversation). The other window is a MS-DOS command prompt window and the current directory is N:\kart\-something- that I can’t understand, but “kart” is norwegian for “map” (http://www.tritrans.info/cgi-bin/translate.pl?spraak=Norsk&Fra=kart&button=Translate%21)

And she coincidentally has a Google Maps window opened…

This is what made me start visiting Page 121 everyday. Another hint to this may be considered by the fact that every post is published at 08:15. A picture of an island. Strange numbers. And, please, don’t you tell me that Han nes Al fvén doesn’t remind you of Al var Han so!!

Anyway, maybe is this LOST hiatus that makes me see things.

The old man The last post says “they’re related”. Who are they? I think Alvén on a side, and C. Johan, the guy of the web that you are redirected to when entering the passcode. From what I found on Wikipedia, the only thing which connect them is that both had alternative theories about space than the popular ones among the scientific community. Or at least that’s my impression. Not much, though.

There are so many clues, that even being an experienced ARG gamer I must say is a bit harder than the usual challenges of this type. But I think that we still need to connect Page 121, Thomas Dahlem, Nightshot and of course Aladygma to see things clearer

It is also worth noting that there is a theory circulating that all of these sites have nothing to do with Cloverfied or any J. J. Abrams projects for that matter, but are in fact linked to M. Night Shyamalan’s new movie, The Happening . This is of course another very interesting idea. Even if this turns out to be true, I can’t go against the idea that something is in the works connected to Cloverfield as well, with all the updates to the various site (the new logo popping up). Whether Cloverfield is related to aladygma or the night shot , or Thomas Dahlem , or page 121 is still a mystery.

I just went back to backlayer.net/term at midnight and the page has updated. This is what appears now:

If you type ‘Thomas’ after the prompt and hit enter the words ‘Status: Missing’ appears. There is also a small blinking icon that appears in the bottom right hand corer, could not make it out though.

The small blinking image at the bottom right corner of the backlayer.net/term website is this . It’s labeled ‘nciie.jpg’ looks to be some kind of cosmic cloud, or planetary burst.

After googling 18-22 2008 ISSI, not much came up, then I tried ‘ISSI’ many hits on possible abbreviations came up. One that was interesting was the ‘International Space Science Institute’ in Bern, Germany. Site here . No clue whether it is in fact related though. Alternative Biochemistry has also been suggested as linked to backlayer term. Here is what wikipedia says about ‘Alternative Biochemistry ‘. Has to do with research on aliens.
