30 MOVIE SEQUELS YOU WEREN’T EXPECTING

Hollywood studios are obsessed with cashing in on the idea of a sequel for any blockbuster. Here is a list of 30 you may or may not have seen coming. Some of these seem a little awkward since it has been years since the original debuted. I guess if Die Hard movies can be produced forever, why not keep Beverly Hills Cop going strong. Also it’s safe to assume many of these will skip theaters and go straight to DVD.

Below is the list and what we think about each:

The Brazilian Job - First one was ok, has the potential for a good cast, waiting on storyline.
I, Robot 2 - Never saw the first one, but I guess a lot of people liked it, I could care less.
I Am Legend 2 - Not sure what’s in store for this, as the main character died in the first one.
Beverly Hills Cop 4 - Don’t get me wrong, loved 1 and 2, but come on.
National Treasure 3 - Gross.
Cars 2 - Still need to see the first, but will prob be a great movie to take the kids to.
Toy Story 3 - I actually enjoyed the first, still a kids movie, even though I am a fan of the CG.
Jeepers Creepers 3 - NO.
Shrek 5 - Starting to wonder how many there will be.
Night at the Museum 2 - Come on ben.
Crank 2: High Voltage - For god’s sake no.
Transporter 3 - No, no no, no, no.
Super Troopers 2 - Can’t wait.
Silent Hill 2 - Curious about this one.
The Descent 2 - No desire to see the first, no desire to see this one either.
The Grudge 3 - Never.
Ice Age 3 - Loved the first, liked the second.
Ghost Rider 2 - Nicolas Cage. Do I need to say more?
The Untouchables: Capone Rising - Hmmm…
The Thomas Crown Affair 2 - Not feeling it.
The People Under The Stairs 2 - Assuming straight to DVD.
The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor - Why?
Punisher: War Zone - Um, ok.
Starship Troopers 3: Marauder - Wouldn’t bother.
Pink Panther 2 - No need.
Ace Ventura 3 - Straight to DVD, and no Jim Carrey, what’s the point?
War of the Worlds 2: The Next Wave - Please NO.
Jurassic Park 4 - Interesting, how are they going to spin it this time?
Scary Movie 5 - Vomit.
Saw 5 - Double vomit.
