2009 GM PUMA Concept

GM and Segway are developing an electrically powered, two-seat prototype vehicle that has only two wheels. Dubbed Project P.U.M.A. (Personal Urban Mobility and Accessibility), It could allow people to travel around cities more quickly, safely, quietly and cleanly – and at a lower total cost. The vehicle also enables design creativity, fashion, fun and social networking.

GM and Segway announced their collaboration, while demonstrating the Project P.U.M.A. prototype in New York City. The 300-pound prototype runs on a lithium-ion battery and uses Segway’s characteristic two-wheel balancing technology, along with dual electric motors. It’s designed to reach speeds of up to 35 miles-per-hour and can run 35 miles on a single charge.

Don't like it. They should at least make it look good and be functional.
